Tab 0 -- Self-Help culture
Metaphors as inspiration

This binder was inspired by the Chronicle's article (Climbing other Mountains - see above tab) on Alison Levine's company Daredevil Strategies, and how she became a motivational speaker - using her ability to climb mountains like Everest as a way to motivate business leaders.

The article also looks into how American society supports the 'self-help' culture - what are the causes, reactions and reasons behind the way people look for guidance and metaphors in their struggles with life goals.
