Research Skills & Climate Change

Tab 0 -- Introduction
Climate Change & Research Skills
This binder was created to support a face to face workshop series on advanced research skills and critically reading the web.
The workshop, currently in development, will focus on the following:

1.  Searching the web using advanced search techniques and a variety of search engines.  Participants will examine strategies for conducting scholarly research on the web and locating primary sources and data.

2.  Critical Reading & Analysis, using the results of the searches and the websites found in the binder participants will look at strategies for critically reading websites. Working on such skills a identifying fact, assumption, opinion and inference. Participants will also be asked to develop questions based on the above findings, and then develop strategies for seeking those answers.

When workshop materials are complete they will be added to the binder.
