Collections of Children's Books and Resources
Children Literature is an important aspect of early childhood development. It promotes creativity, social, language, vocabulary, and cognitive skills. Children's literature provides entertainment and promotes positive relationships between the adult and the child. Donna Norton summarizes the importance of children's literature, as provides students with opportunities to respond to literature; it gives students appreciation about their own cultural heritage as well as those of others; it helps students develop emotional intelligence and creativity; it nurtures growth and development of the students personality and social skills; and it transmits important literature and themes from one generation to the next (Norton, 2010). In this binder, the viewers will encounter a collection of various types of children's literature and resources. Enjoy the wonderful world of children's books, and they will bring out many different emotions.
