LiveBinders loves sharing tips and tricks from our users who’ve discovered their own way to help make their binders shine! Recently, we got an interesting tip regarding Google Docs.
Have you ever wished the shared Google Docs in your binder didn’t display all the menu options at the top? There’s a simple solution! By using Google’s “Publish to the Web” feature, you can present a clean, professional-looking document that resembles a sleek webpage—without the clutter of menus.
By choosing “Publish to the Web” under the File>Share options of your Google doc, only the content of your document and none of the menu options will display.
You can then still control who can view the document under the “ Share with Others” section of your document.
And as always, any updates to your Google doc will automatically update to the published version. You can always choose to stop the updates or unpublish.
For more information we have a new video as well as instructions on how to Publish to the Web in our Help Guide.
It’s a cool tip we think you might find useful to make your Google docs more viewable to your audience.
