I started taking Nexium for my acid reflex a couple of years ago and just recently I noticed stiffness in my right knee and left elbow. I thought that the elbow pain I felt might have been caused by push ups and carrying a heavy hand bag, but my knees had never given me trouble before.
I decided to take a look on the web to see if other Nexium users had similar side effects and found that joint pain was on the list.
My doctor had suggested that I think about getting off of the Nexium in the near future, but I didn’t want to think about it since it was working so well.
However, since discovering this joint pain, I’ve gotten off of the medication. It’s only been a few days and I don’t expect the pain to go away that quickly, but I will keep this binder updated on my results.
I also haven’t had any real problems with my acid reflex since I stopped taking the medication, but I think it is because in the course of two years I have changed my diet and eating habits so that I know how to keep the acid from bothering me.
In the meantime, if you are taking Nexium, you might want to take a look at these websites to see what other people have experienced. Just click on the link below and click through the tabs on the binder page to got to the websites.
