Political Science 310
The students in the class learning this lesson will be intermediate level as political science is their major. The students are a diverse group of people, ranging from sophomore to junior level, all demographics, such as on campus students, working parents, and even professionals in the government/nonprofit field. They have a variety of learning styles and they are motivated learners. The lesson plan moves forward with the critical thinking and analysis skills they have acquired in the beginning 100 and 200 level courses. This lesson is geared to help students use their skills and prior knowledge to help them articulate and draw conclusions about political science. The lesson will focus on executive orders and understanding the ideology of how politics work and how specific parties have used executive orders in history. The lesson will focus on the executive branch of government in which students will learn how executive orders are produced from the president.
