EDSE 555: Special Education Technology
This course is designed to introduce beginning graduate students (students who are looking at obtaining initial special education licensure) to the implication of technology in the field of special education. This course provides students with a broad overview of the policies on special education technology, universal design for instruction using technology, implementation of instructional/assistive technology in classrooms, and the enablers/barriers for using technology for students with exceptionalities. Students will learn to design and implement accessible technologies to improve inclusive practices in their schools.
