Literacy Assessment Portfolio
Develop a Literacy Assessment Portfolio. Collect or create a minimum of ten informal literacy assessments which measure the big five ideas in reading: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. There must be at least one assessment from each of the big five. Each assessment must be accompanied by directions and how the results of the assessment will be used. Include in your portfolio a summary sheet which will allow you to record and see at a glance the progress of the students in your class. All assessments and accompanying information must be compiled into one document to submit on Blackboard. These assessments will be utilized in developing a literacy case study on a child during this course.
