This guide is for GVC students taking courses in American History, who are completing assignments on slavery in early America; with special consideration given to 1st person (African American) viewpoints. Resources listed offer materials for a range of reading levels. Although this Pathfinder was created for the specific needs of GVC students, it may prove helpful for other (middle years-high school) students studying the broader topics of Early American History/Black History Month/Slavery.
