Law Enforcement and Public Safety Leadership
The University of San Diegos Law Enforcement and Public Safety Leadership Graduate Program is well organized and contemporary. This collection of works along with their reflections are based on the four primary learning objectives for this program. Those four learning objectives are:
Promoting Ethical and Effective Leadership for Law
Enforcement and Public Safety Organizations;
Developing Law Enforcement and Public Safety Skills and
Knowledge in the 21st Century;
Engaging in Law Enforcement and Public Safety Institutional
Assessment and Change;
Critical Understanding of Modern Criminology and Criminal
Justice Issues.
These learning outcomes guide the curriculum in this graduate program. Each course was developed with these outcomes as the basis for its content. In many cases, the courses overlapped into more than one learning outcome.
This collection of works, along with the reflections, were composed by me in my time completing this graduate program. I have selected each example to show how each particular learning outcome was relevant to that composition. I am proud of the work that I have done completing this program and I hope you enjoy it as well.
