This is meant to be a snapshot on my contributions to the field of education during my probationary period at PS/MS 42Q. I began my career at 42 as a paraprofessional in 2016 and was hired as a teacher in 2019 while a Teaching Fellow. I believe my role as an educator is to foster student strengths while creating an environment that makes them feel comfortable to engage in productive struggles through their academic careers. I believe in facilitating opportunities of growth for the child's whole being: academically, socially, and emotionally to promote citizens with compassion, resiliency and problem-solving skills.
