"The Biology of Courage"
This collection of resources is designed to help elementary school teachers access resources to help themselves and their students understand and develop strategies to cope with worry, stress, and anxiety.
Target audience: You're teaching in the middle of a pandemic and you have been for months. You are juggling caring for yourself, your family, your relationships, and your friendships, on top of all of the other myriad demands of your everyday life. On top of that, your role as an educator means that you are caring for your students (and their families) and it might be proving really difficult to keep up with your own emotional needs as well as those of your students.
This guide is here to help you leverage your body's responses to stress, worry, and anxiety and give you the tools to help you understand these phenomena as a natural part of life (for individuals of all ages) and to manage your reactions when your body reacts to prepare you for the challenges ahead.
