Snapshot:��My name is Juana Mihut. I am 26 years old. I am the first out of my five siblings to graduate college and hold a degree. I love the color orange. I love my dogs. I am currently participating in a church dance group. Teaching is in my blood. My father was a Biology teacher when he lived in Mexico and my husband is a Biology teacher as well ( I'm not going to teach Biology though). I love shows such as Doctor Who, The Office, Friends, That 70s Show, The Great British Bake Off pretty much anything that has to do with baking and cooking. My taste in music is highly varied. It all just depends on my mood. I have been married to my husband for a little over two years now but I've known him since I was 14 (he was 15) and we've been together for six years.
I have been working in Education for the past 8 years. I started out as a Student Worker for the Library at the college I was attending. Then I moved into working as an AVID tutor for grades 6-12th. Then I started working as a Paraeducator for Special Needs students. I was thrown into the position not knowing a single thing about special needs students. Finally, for the past year I have been working as a substitute teacher for two different districts. I've subbed for all grades but I prefer to stay with the little ones (TK-2). Currently I am working on my Multiple Subject credential, alongside my Master's coursework.
