A composting Heater
The Pain Mound is a large pile of woody living matter, it is made of wood-chips and sawdust, surrounded by a ring of hay bales for structure and insulation. As the Pain Mound decomposes, heat is produced and harnessed using a hydronic loop. The Pain Mound will produce heat for up to 18 months, after time it can be used to build soil.

As well as incorporating a cleaner and more polished design of the box that includes an iPad for operating our TV and brochures with vital information about the Haiti Container Project in a way that is easy for the public to access. The box will be used at fairs, meetings and casual display in Mr. Grant's classroom.
