EDSE 696 Comprehensive Exam
My name is Kelsey Smith and I am currently in my 10th year of being a Special Education Teacher (Learning Specialist) at the elementary level. In May 2012, I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with my bachelor's degree in Special Education. Once I obtained my degree, I started my teaching career in a small district located in Bailey, Colorado. After 8 years of teaching, I decided to further my education and return to the University of Northern Colorado to pursue my master's degree. In addition, around that same time, I made a change in my career and accepted a job in Jeffco Public Schools. As I navigated through my master���s program, I could not have been more grateful to be teaching at the school I am. This binder contains artifacts from the Intervention Specialist (with an emphasis in academic coaching and educational leadership) program I completed. I enjoyed getting to complete work for some of those artifacts within my school.
