Infusing Technology Lesson- Keyirrah W.
This lesson is appropriate for a Kindergarten-2nd grade class! This lesson involves sequential teaching of how to carve a pumpkin which leads to a fun opinion writing lesson on disguising a runaway pumpkin. We will, as a whole class go over the steps in how to carve a pumpkin and then read a story on The Runaway Pumpkin. Using our prior knowledge of how to carve a pumpkin, we will brainstorm what designs we will use for our own pumpkins so that they won't get caught by the evil pumpkin catcher! After this, we will graph our thoughts on whether we think our designs will work and save our pumpkin or not. A truly fun and engaging lesson about opinions, hypothesizing and sequencing!
