My philosophy on education is that each student is unique and has their own way of learning. I am a strong believer that you need to be flexible, understanding, influential and determined to reach each students individual needs. We as teachers need to help our students grow in all areas of learning: academics, behavior, and character so that they can be successful in their future.
My goal as a physical education teacher is to help my students find a physical activity that they can enjoy for a lifetime. I believe that it is my job to make my students feel safe in their learning environment where they want to take chances and can express themselves freely. I will use cooperative learning, differentiated instruction, and problem based learning to help my students gain a deeper understanding of the material.
