Welcome! With this portfolio I would like to share with you my experience, examples of my work and my teaching philosophy. I hope to show you the dynamic teacher that I am and highlight the experiences that have attracted me to working in special education and led me to inquiry-based learning. I am (and always will be) continuing to grow as a teacher, but I am confident I can make a positive difference for my students through consistent classroom management, engaging lessons and projects, strong relationships, effective communication, and using data to guide differentiation and intervention. My goal is to encourage students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and global citizens.
