Special Needs Toolkit (2017)
The purpose of this tool kit is to ensure that people that access it have a broad knowledge of the field of special education and students with special learning needs (including those who are at risk and/or culturally and linguistically diverse). This knowledge includes the disability areas (including prevalence, causes and characteristics), how students qualify for services under each area, and any strategies that may be helpful for IEP teams, teachers and/or families to consider. This tool kit is a resource guide for colleagues, families and community members.
