Moth spraying in Bay Area

Tab 0 -- Stop spraying
Pesticide spraying in Bay Area

With all the 'green' activities the Bay Area has been advocating, it is hard to believe that San Francisco would allow aerial pesticide spraying over urban and residential areas.  The spraying is to stop the spread of the Light Brown Apple Moth, which could damage fruit crops and plants.

If you are just hearing about this - the State is planning to begin spraying the San Francisco Bay Area this summer.  This binder has links to some of the recent news articles on this issue.  In one of the articles, mothers in the Bay Area are taking an active role trying to stop the spraying.  The campaign is known as "Keep the spray off my baby!"
