This binder was created with the direct purpose of providing instruction/assessment resources, strategies, and specific ideas to help students varying with exceptionalities. The target audience for the last part of this binder's contents is the Grade 9 - 12 special educator in mathematics. This assessment binder was being completed in accordance with the Week 3 assignment of the "MTH - 575" course "Mathematics for Special Education" from the University of Phoenix from January to February 2021; completion of said course serves as a requirement to fulfilling the UOPX Masters' in Special Education (MA.SPED) degree. This is a living document containing resources that pertain to instructing English-language learners (EL) obtaining the language as a supplement to their primary language. The content inside this binder can be utilized to support instruction in English language proficiency in several areas, such as reading, writing, listening/speaking, and grammar/vocabulary [across any content areas]. This assessment binder was being completed in accordance with the Week 5 assignment of the "SEI - 503" course "Advanced Structured English Immersion" from the University of Phoenix from November 2020 through early January 2021; completion of said course serves as a requirement to fulfilling the UOPX Masters' in Special Education (MA.SPED) degree.
